- Well, you're right, they are "custom" from one point of view. It
- depends on your definition I suppose. Mine was "custom" = "something
- besides what they use in run of the mill PCs". I.e, AGA would be
- custom, but S3, not. Although I could see other perfectly valid
- definitions such as yours as well.

- Well, if it is not compatible with the PC graphics chipsets, then it
- seems like just economics. How many dollars will be invested into
- creating PC graphics chipsets, compared to Amiga ones? With all that
- R&D money available, they're bound to make a faster and better one, and
- do it more frequently. If the Amiga is in a position to use the cheap,
- fast PC hardware, so much the better for the Amiga.
